MATH 6510: Algebraic Topology I (Spring 2010)

This is an introductory course that includes the topics of fundamental group, covering spaces, and homology theory.

If time permits, some cohomology theory will also be covered. The lectures will be based on Allen Hatcher's "Algebraic Topology," in particular at least through Chapter 2.
