MATH 7110: Seminar in Analysis: Geometric Aspects of the Ricci Flow (Fall 2009)
Instructor: Xiaodong Cao
This is a continuation of previous courses of the Ricci flow. In this course, we will focus on geometric aspects. We will discuss applications of Li-Yau-Hamilton type differential Harnack inequalities, properties and classifications of Ricci solitons and ancient solutions, Perelman's non-collapsing result and singularity analysis, etc. The course does not depend on the previous ones, basic knowledge of geometry and PDE in graduate level course should be enough.
