We will explore the geometry of solvable groups such as lamplighters groups, Baumslag-Solitar groups, Baumslag’s metabelian group, and other related examples. Our viewpoints will include: presentations, horocyclic products, lattices, Word and Conjugacy Problems, finiteness properties, and Bieri-Neumann-Strebel invariants.
