MATH 7370 - Algebraic Number Theory

This will be an introduction to class field theory, both local and global, mixed in some manner not yet determined. The details will depend very much on who shows up. The main technical requirement will be a knowledge of algebra at the level of MATH 6320. Some previous exposure to number theory, and above all an interest in it, may be even more important. There will be no official text.
