MATH 6320 - Algebra

Shankar Sen, spring 2015.

MATH 6320 covers Galois theory, representation theory of finite groups, introduction to homological algebra. Familiarity with the material of a standard undergraduate course in abstract algebra will be assumed. (MATH 6310 is not strictly a prerequisite, though it may help to have taken it.)

Most subjects will not be covered in depth, as the idea is to present a broad view with a glimpse of several topics.
