MATH 6120 - Complex Analysis
Robert Strichartz, spring 2016.
The course covers in depth the theory of complex analysis and some of its applications, such as the prime number theorem, the Malgrange-Ehrenpreis theorem on existence of solutions to linear constant coefficient PDE's, and the M. Riesz Interpolation theorem. We will also cover distribution theory.
Students will do most of the lecturing. In place of a final exam there will be student projects.
