Math 713 — Spring 2001 Functional Analysis

We will use the notes of L.Gross, distributed free, as a general guide. We will go well beyond the general spectral theorem for unbounded operators, and pick up additional material such as semi-group theory, according to time available and the preferences of instructor and students.
