MATH 505: Educational Issues in Undergraduate Mathematics (Spring 2004)
Instructor: David Henderson
This course examines various educational issues in undergraduate mathematics and the relationship of these issues to the mathematics itself. For Spring 2004, the course will focus on issues surrounding the teaching and learning of calculus, especially those issues related to basic conceptual understanding of calculus and the "Good Questions" project. We will examine issues and papers both in the mathematics education research literature and in mathematics literature. Grading will be S/U.
